This dood, Eric actually catching some air!Went "boogie boarding"( as Elijah calls it) the other afternoon with some people at the river. These are hand crafted boards attached to a makeshift bungie line which is tied to a tree several yards up river.True, original river rat style. You ride against the current. You can start on your stomach ( and stay there if you want) letting the current move you down stream and tightening the cord, or move up to your knees(like knee boarding), then eventually up to your feet( in a surfing or wake boarding stance), It is pretty fun and very refreshing. And it is down stream from the waste water treatment plant so don't drink too much water.
